Joshua Allcorn

Joshua Allcorn has been called into the office of an evangelist, into the full time ministry, and has been studying for this most of his adult life. He has always heard the voice of God speaking to him about things in his own personal life, and concerning things to share with others. Joshua has always had a special place in his heart for the Lord. From his early youth he has always been an avid "tither", and knows the value of consistent, regular giving.

It's Time For a License

When Joshua returned home from the Master's Commission, the Lord told his Dad, also a pastor and the founder of SPIRIT of TRUTH MINISTRIES, that He wanted to license Joshua. His Dad said he questioned the Lord about it. The Lord, his Dad says, was very firm about it. "Don't you trust him to rightly handle My Word!"? Without delay, Joshua Allcorn was then licensed into the ministry.

Joshua is currently studying to get his nursing degree so he can better provide for himself while he is seeking the Lord on specific direction for his life. Now, as a licensed minister he is also able to legally perform weddings, funerals, and perform all of the various other functions of a minister of the gospel. He also has a home pastor for accountability and integrity's sake. His own integrity, however, and his love for the Word of God, is assurance enough that he intends to fulfill his calling with accuracy and excellence, having rightly handled the Word of Truth, as a minister of the gospel.

Friends

Everybody needs friends - especially ministers of God. When you're trying to do all that you know to do to "be" what God called you to be - even though you may not know yourself what that is - you need friends! Friends to lift you up, to encourage you, and to keep cheering you on! Lord knows the devil doesn't want you to succeed. But true "friends" will help you to keep the fire burning, and kindle the flame when it begins to die out ... hoping that you will keep it up and "press-in" so that God can complete what He started ... in you!

If you know someone today who is a minister, don't make the mistake of thinking that everything is "peachy" in their life - encourage them! Take every opportunity to slip them some money, or give them an encouraging word, or pat them on the back and say, "I believe in you!" You have no Earthly idea just how far that can go ...

A man with many talents, many faces ... and "voices" ... and many dreams!
