ONLINE MESSAGES

 

Picture yourself living in the woods!  You live up in Montana, or Wyoming, or some remote spot in the country ... miles from any real"city".  You're reponsible for maintaining your property.  When bears come to steal your chickens, or mess with your horses, you can't just pick up the phone and call the police.  You've got to handle it yourself. 

"But I can't do that!" you argue.  I can't chase the devil off!  Well it's THAT, or let the bear get the horses, and maybe later, the kids ... or even YOU!  What do you do?  You get your gun!  It's time to fight back!  And THAT is what you have to do in life!

In dealing with a bear, you have to remember that you NEED TO KNOW how to fire your weapons.  You need to make sure it's loaded.  You need to know how to aim it.  And most importantly, you have to know how to "MAKE THE SHOT COUNT! "  If you shoot the bear in the wrong place, you'll only make him mad and he'll come after you more angry than he was before!  You DON'THAVE THE OPTION of just NOT doing anything!  Whether in this "BEAR" situation, or in your personal life, you HAVE GOT TO ACT!

If you decide you don't want to do anything but just sit back and ignore the fact that he's "out there", he will one day show up at your place when you're NOT PREPARED and you'll be defenseless!   It'll be a mistake you will only make once ... and you'll think back with regret as you are taken down, mauled, and eaten by that bear, wishing you had done something when you had the chance.  But now ... it's too late!

So, what do you do?  You get your rifle, you learn how to load it, you learn how to aim it, and you learn how to shoot it - accurately!   Then, you learn about your enemy ... your "target", for when you go after the bear, you have to know how to spot the bear and take him out before he gets you!  And when you "DO" find him and you take him out, you will then have peace, and can enjoy your beautiful home, your animals, your family, and your life!  You will not have to be afraid or live in fear for your children, your family, or your life! 

In much the same way as the BEAR STORY above, the devil is roaming about seeking to plunder you, your family, your stuff, and all that you have!  You can just ignore him, like the bear, and pretent that he doesn't exist, and you'll probably not see much of him ... for a while.  Then, one day ... "BOOM"!  You lose your job, or your house burns down, or your car is repossessed - maybe even a fatal sickness hits you or one of your family members!  Then, it's too late!  For like the guy who DID NOT learn to operate his rifle, and who did NOT go after the bear, he finds the bear has caught HIM ... unprepared!  Abd as you watch, helplessly, your finances, your health, and possibly your loved ones are snatched - even taken from you!  And you remember ... with regret, for it's now too late! 

The Weapons of Our Warfare is a teaching series that discusses, presents, and instructs you in the weapons of warfare ... spiritual warfare, that Jesus shed His most precious blood to provide for you.  These weapons, the Bible calls them the "gifts of the Spirit", are your tools in dealing with the devil and his forces ... with them you can ward them off, and with them you can TAKE HIM OUT!

Come listen, study, and learn about your weapons that the Lord has provided you.  Learn to rid yourself of frequent attacks and destruction!  Learn to locate, isolate, and exterminate strongholds and forces that are determined to steal from you, and rob you of God's blessings in your life!  Learn to clear the way for blessings and prosperity in your life, that you may become that shining light and source of blessing and supply to all those around you!
