You may be looking for a new church home. It may be that you are longing for some place you can go where they actually know your name, or maybe you're unemployed and looking for answers. Maybe you just had a heart attack and want someone who can identify with what you are going through. I can tell you I've sure been there!

Maybe your marriage is shakey and you need to see one that "works", right there before your eyes, so you can be encouraged, and learn what works! Or maybe you've been feeling that longing, that quiet calling, to a full-time or part-time calling in ministry for Jesus.

Whatever it is that you are looking for, I'll bet we've got it here at Word Church!
How can I be so sure? Because Jesus goes here! That's right! Jesus is here each and every service! "Rediculous!" you may say? Come on now, come find out for yourself ... He's here!

We are building a church fellowship ...

We're in a re-grouping mode right now. We are looking for folks who sing, who play instruments, and especially folks who are tired of "playing church". Read a little bit about us as we add and bring online the features of this site to include items like "about us" and "our vision" and "staff needs" to name a few. I'm an "online" kind of a guy. We wanna get your email address and get you "hooked in" with us so you know when we are meeting, where, and what we have going on! Being a "start-up" group, we will meet in small places for a while until our growth reaches a point where we can buy our own property and set up a place to meet of our own. I'm picturing something akin to a cowboy church as far as a locale with lots of trees, grass, and a beautiful area for the kids to play. I like country music. I also like a wide, wide variety of music styles, and we want to be able to enjoy 'em all here, so if you can play an instrument and sing, and folks don't cover their ears when ya' do, then we're interested in hearing from you!

Well, 'nuff said about all of the "we are gonna's" and "we are planning's" ... let's get together and have "church" folks!
We are currently taking up names of folks who would commit to regularly attending and becoming a part of a small fellowship. Once we've got a bunch of names, we're gonna throw a barbeque and all get together and plan this thing out. Sound like fun? I thought so!

There's Somebody I'd like you to meet!

Never in a million years will you meet a man that will impact your life like this man!
Of all the mentors you may have encountered, of all the special friends you may have known, there is no one, that will make you feel, like you feel, when you are in the presence of this man called "Jesus"!

He is the friend-of-all-friends. When you sit across the table from the Man of Galilee, you begin to see yourself the way He sees you! Suddenly, the problems you have been facing seem so small, and easy to resolve, and the cares and the worries that you harbor seem so very small ... when you sit before the Master of solutions!

I have met Him, personally, and I want you to meet Him too!
I promise you your life will never, ever be the same again ...
Won't you meet my Jesus?

Step I - We Need Partners! In the beginning, we are looking for interested folks ... folks who are interested in becoming committed with us, in forming a firm, solid faith-based foundation for the beginnings of a church. Our first attempt failed because we did not wait for this. We must have committed partners in ministry - financially, prayerfully, and in service and support as well. We need folks like you! We cannot move on to Step II until we have accomplished Step I ... however long it may take, we are not going to get ahead of God on this ... Please keep this in your prayers.	Step IV - The Music Team God showed me in a dream that the key to the calling He has placed upon me lies in the area of music, in worship of God. If we are to grow, and enjoy His presence in our midst, then we are going to have to be prepared to worship God in music. I consider this area of ministry second only to the ministry of the Word itself. It is vital that we have a team gifted in music, with a heart after God. I would like to ask that you begin praying in this area now ... don't wait! It's important.
Step II - The Planning Barbeque Party Once we have acquired folks who have the grace and the calling to become partners with us in this ministry and in forming this church, we will then have a planning party ... a BBQ to gather the folks together and put the plans to paper. Proverbs is quick to teach us to take the time to carefully consider before we go into business or before we begin any endeavor that takes time and money. Well folks, this will take of both our time and our money. If we are going to step out and do this again, we want to be organized, well-supported, and prepared ... to win! It won't do any good to bring folks into the kingdom if we don't have the mechanism to train them up and teach them ... to stand, to grow, and to go out themselves. In this endeavor, a good plan is a vital key to success.	Step V - Prophetic Teaching The Bible teaches us that God's people perish for a lack of knowledge. This comes when we fail to teach folks how to live by, stand on, and walk in, the Word of God. There is much that I have learned that I wish to share. There is much that the Holy Spirit wishes to share as well, as I am teaching what the Spirit of God has taught me. What I say is not near as important as what the Spirit says about what I say. In addition, we will have other teachers who are gifted in the training of the Word of God. I want folks to hunger to be here just because they are being fed the Word of God! If we do our job right in this department, then we will be raising up teachers as well, who will go out and pass on what they have learned here!
Step III - Staff Teams & Assignments A good leader knows that you have to learn, as Moses did, to delegate. Learn to trust on others, and to depend on them. When God delegated the authority in the Earth to Man, He did not take it back when the man messed up! But He did find a way to help the man to "fix it". We are going to, in this step, seeks God's plan and assign positions to folks who will be trusted with an assignment. It will be their baby. Sink or swim, it's in their lap. Then we will trust them, advise them, and do our best to help them to be successful in their department of responsibility.	Step VI - Growth & Telling Them About Jesus Of all the things the Lord Jesus Christ has commanded us to do, the one thing that stands out among all the rest as His passion for us to follow is witnessing. It is in telling others about Jesus. The whole purpose of the Church is for the preparation of the Saints for the work of the ministry. Simply put, this means that we are here to train up folks in the meat of the Word of God, and show them how to (1) walk in it, (2) live by it, and (3) tell others about it. So, if we're not sharing Jesus ... if our members do not even know how to share Jesus, then we are a waste of time. What were some of Jesus' last words just before He left? "Go into all the World and preach the gospel ...". And that is what we are committed to do.
