Meet The Pastors Meet pastors Rich and Jane Allcorn, founders of SPIRIT of TRUTH MINISTRIES, Int'l., home of the word church .. WORD of FAITH Christian Church. This "mad about you-like" couple are anointed by God to be a pastor to ministers in-the-field that maybe don't have a pastor. With the heart of a father, pastor Rich says a pastor needs to "be there" for those under him, especially when they are "stepping out" into their calling. It's not easy, and sometimes we mess up.
A true "pastor" with God's heart will be there for you to build you up and help you get back on your feet when you fail, so you can go at it again ... and again ... and again ... until you "win"!
These two understand "covenant" in relationships and in commitments, and are the perfect pastors to have in your corner when you step into the ring!

Preaching The Gospel to Nursing Homes! When Jesus commissioned us to "preach the gospel to all creation" it wasn't just a good idea, or a nice suggestion ... it was a "command"!
We are "ordered" by Jesus to go into "all the world" and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to His creation! That means at the gas station, in the mall, at the grocery store, and even in the nursing homes. These people are in the "green room" just before going on with Jesus! Don't you think that "they" deserve a chance to go "in faith" too? Yes, they do! And they do! Pastor Margarett Parker, chaplain of Hearthstone in Round Rock Texas, preaches the uncompromising word of the Living God to a group of folks that many have forgotten. And they "snatch it up", believing God and learning, just like anybody else. God is alive and well in the nursing homes today!
What about the rest of our world? Are you ready ... to preach the uncompromising word of a living God to the world?

Cowboy Churches! Meet Corey Ross, pastor, evangelist, singer, and also professional rodeo cowboy, the sr. pastor of the Williamson County Cowboy Church.
Corey Ross preaches the uncompromising word of a living God to cowboys, which could be ranchers, farmers, rodeo cowboys, and working cowboys, to name a few. He's an accomplished team-roper, a wonderful singer, and ... well, to put it plainly, Corey is just "all cowboy". Corey grew up in the ranching environment, and at one time in his life his father was working for John Wayne, "the Duke"! He's down-to-earth in his style and mannerisms, and loves to have cowboy fun, but when he begins to talk about God, it's obvious that he is 110% committed to Jesus!
We believe in Pastor Corey Ross, and support his ministry without reservation! "He is by far one of the most honest, resourceful, and enthusiastic preachers that I've ever worked with," says pastor Rich Allcorn, founder of SPIRIT of TRUTH MINISTRIES, pastor of WORD CHURCH in Austin Texas, and part-time evangelist with RICH ALLCORN MINISTRIES. "My favorite phrase of Corey's is when he says, 'Folks, if you're not having fun servin' God, you're not doing it right!' ... and he means it, too!"

"Camp" Meetings! The apostle Paul said we need to be "all things to all people", and THAT is what we do with our camping and 4-wheeler outreach we call Family 4wd Adventures!
We set up camping trips, and do 4-wheel adventures that reach "out there" where folks are that probably will never darken the doors of a church, to be there, in their midst, with the gospel of Jesus Christ. They need Jesus too!
We also offer what we call "FAITH CAMP or true "camp meetings" where we set up a large camp area and have folks come out, set up their camps, and hold meetings ... right there in the outdoors! It's wonderful! We have large campfires where folks can get together and visit and fellowship and share, after the meetings. We also have a "camp kitchen" where we prepare foods for those who don't want to fix their own meals at their campsites. Kids love these trips!
If you love camping, or 4-wheeling, then you're going to want to bring your family and your kids, and all your camping gear, and get involved in some real "camp meetings"! It has all the "outdoors atmosphere" of a cowboy church, and all the fun of a campout, coupled with the spiritual growth and encourgement of a Believer's Convention ... you're going to love it!

Apostles Traveling Worldwide! Meet Paul and Linda Prestridge, apostles to the World! It's a funny thing about apostles - you rarely get to meet one! Well, now you have! Paul and Linda are truly Bible "apostles".
The body of Christ has over the years, called folks that we send into the world to do what the apostles did, "missionaries". This is not proper. Worse, it's not "Bible". I don't find "missionaries" listed in the Bible as one of the five-fold ministries. These would properly be called, depending on their function, either Apostles, or Evangelists. But, when I consider what these two do, time and time again, they fit the shoes of the apostle!
Paul and Linda have held campaigns, crusades,
church meetings and seminars throughout various Latin American
countries, and in India to name a few, with visits also to Guatemala, Honduras,
India, Burma, and Puerto Rico. Their purpose? For the training and raising up
pastors and ministers to spread the message of Jesus!
Having
pastored himself, Paul has as of this writing, founded almost a hundred "plus" churches, and is continuing to bring the Good News to countries
desperately in need of the message of the gospel.
We believe in these two! They need your prayers, and especially your financial support as partners! When they go into a country, they don't just go to minister, but they come as servants of the Lord bearing "gifts". This is many times food, clothing, or materials that are desperately needed items where they are going. They usually have to purchase them locally, to avoid shipping expenses, and this takes a lot of money! Keep these two in-mind when you pray, and when you're asking God where you need to begin sowing seeds for your financial success!

Licensing & Ordination! Licensing and Ordination of ministers of the gospel of Jesus Christ is something we take very, very seriously at Spirit of Truth Ministries, and Word of Faith Christian Center. We do not provide "mail order" licenses, or rubber-stamped preachers! The word of God says NOT to lay hands on someone too hastily. We take that to heart.
On the other hand, we also believe that the ministry, or in other words the "home church" that licenses or ordains you for ministry needs to believe in the calling of God on your life enough to become covenant "partners" with you in what you'll be doing! We understand "covenant" relationships and the "absolutes" that apply with those practices. In this ministry, we base everything on "family"! When you join this ministry, you become "family" with us, and we become "family" with you. That opens doors, between us, and closes doors to forces that would try and "come between" us! in commitments, and are the perfect pastors to have in your corner when you step into the ring!
In a like manner, our pastor believes that his position as pastor is like unto that of a father, in this ministry relationship. When you are "sent out" into full-time ministry from this church, it is very much like when a father sends his son out into the world to make his own way. That father believes in his son, he encourages him, he helps him in whatever way he can, and should that son falter in his steps that father is there to help, to pick up the pieces, and to encourage that son to "go at it again" ... until he succeeds! And that father doesn't "control" his son, but he allows him to grow, and learn, and follow his own heart with God.
We believe that a man (or woman) is accountable to God for their own calling in life - and for their own ministry. We support our affiliates, but the decisions they make, the ventures they undertake, and the conquests they accomplish are between them and God. We don't direct them, but we're there to encourage them, to advise them if necessary, and to go before God on their behalf. We are "partners" in their ministry, and "covenant" in their calling before God.
